I’ve spent the past ten years in leadership roles within the charity sector, following a career in private sector finance. That journey shapes how I work today, clear thinking, strong governance and a focus on what actually keeps organisations going.I’m passionate about social enterprise and entrepreneurship as part of the answer to a more sustainable future for the sector. I care about charities being able to stand on their own feet, generate income in line with their values, and keep delivering for communities without being in constant crisis mode.What drives me is making things work in practice, supporting organisations through change, untangling financial challenges, and connecting long-term vision with day-to-day delivery.I’m especially interested in governance and financial sustainability, and in doing things well and consistently. If I can help a team be stronger, a board have confidence in their decisions, or a strategy be achievable and fit for purpose, that’s time well spent.
