ABOUT ANN-MARIE CORVIN

I’m a business and technology journalist/editor specialising in cybersecurity, fintech and AI — helping decision-makers understand risk, opportunity and innovation.For me, cybersecurity is the most exciting and impactful part of tech reporting. It’s fast-moving, high stakes and deeply relevant to people’s lives. I believe journalism has a vital role in making sense of complex threats, educating audiences, and providing context that helps organisations stay safer.As Deputy Editor at TechInformed, I design and deliver major editorial projects, including:The Ransomware Report — a comprehensive, expert-led guide to every stage of an attack, from hacker marketplaces to incident response and future threats. I wrote, commissioned and edited the report while also working with our commercial team to maximise sponsorship and reach.TechInspired — a research-led series exploring what makes women thrive in tech, based on insights from 500+ professionals. The project shifts the narrative away from barriers to the policies, cultures and leadership that actually work.I also launched the “A Coffee With” Q&A format, giving CISOs and senior executives a platform to share candid insights, and I regularly report from global cyber conferences including BlackHat, Infosec, ZeroTrust World and Gartner Security Summit.Beyond cybersecurity, I cover enterprise AI strategy — from the risks of data leakage in chatbots to how companies like Expedia, JPMorgan and Wells Fargo are applying generative AI. Whether editing a major report, writing analysis, or moderating panels, my goal is always the same: to cut through complexity, uncover what matters, and tell stories that inform, inspire and drive change.
