About Ann Holley

I currently serve as the National Managing Partner – Tax at KPMG, where I focus on shaping and executing the Tax strategy while working across our Firm with other National Managing Partners to drive firm-wide initiatives, growth and profitability. Previously, I led US Tax Practice Operations, where I transformed operational processes to create a future-ready practice that evolved with market demands and business objectives – delivering optimized financial performance and enhanced service delivery. As a KPMG professional for over three decades, I\'ve held various leadership roles including National Service Line Leader for the State and Local Tax (SALT) practice, where I led a team focused on income/franchise and indirect tax. I’ve spoken at numerous industry events, such as the Georgetown CLE Advanced State & Local Tax Institute and IPT/ABA conferences and have contributed to leading publications including State Tax Notes and the Journal of Multistate Taxation. I\'m a proud Tar Heel, having earned my BA in Public Policy Analysis and Master of Accountancy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
