ABOUT ANN HARVEY TANNER

I love leading and working on teams to get stuff done. My superpowers in an organization are learning, building relationships, and keeping us focused on the \"why\" of our work.My early career was a fun and evolving mashup of neuroscience, marketing, economics, and psychology. We used neuroscience to understand the decisions that make us human. I have been fascinated by people and the experiences we design for them ever since, and I\'m passionate about finding ways to make those experiences more welcoming and inclusive. In every project, I strive to balance my creative and analytical side to solve problems. As a former (and forever) scientist, that’s a dream job. As a people leader, I work hard to learn the strengths of my team members and reduce barriers so they can reach their full potential. I find it incredibly rewarding to accomplish a goal with my team, especially when it has been hard or big or messy to get there. You’ll probably catch me crying happy tears.While I\'m leading teams and programs at work, I’m also a mom to a 9-year old and 6-year old who push me to grow in new ways every day. I also love running and gardening, both for the joy of the experience and because there’s always room to learn something new.
