I am excited about:• The process of organizing change• Systems which create smooth sailing within an institution promoting satisfaction and effectiveness• Developing strong networks of people who work together to create a positive institutional culture• Improving the surrounding community through good institutional practicesI have worked on some inspiring institutional programs:• Directed teams who have developed new ministry models of health transformation in an effort to eradicate spiritual, physical, and mental poverty.• Supervised multiple construction projects including redesign and build out of a collaborative commercial kitchen which feeds approximately 6,500 children and adults every day.• Lead a multi-dimensional staff to insure the highest level of programs and services for those who have had limited access to opportunities surrounding income, housing and relationships.• Developed a new educational department within a local church to promote education, giving and service. Saw increases in education participation of 44%, giving of 18%, and service of 34%• Participated in Capital campaigns which have raised millions of dollars through private donations and improved existing facilities without stopping current programming• Participated in jointly redeveloping medical programs in a mid-sized nursing home to attract a new business line that could be better served within the institution• Lead volunteer boards as well as employee teams to effectively set and meet organizational goalsI look forward to doing more of the same in addition to new adventures.
