My Story So Far |With 5 years of experience spanning public accounting and industry, I bring a strong foundation in SOX 404, SOC 1/2, PCI DSS Compliance, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), COBIT 5, COSO, Third-Party Assurance, NIST Cybersecurity Assessment, IT Assurance, Internal IT Audit, and Agile Project Management. Coming from a technical background, I’ve always been driven by curiosity—especially around emerging technologies and their unique risk profiles that shape how businesses operate. This curiosity led me to co-author a research paper on Auditing Blockchains, featured in my School of Management’s annual magazine, and to develop a blockchain-based medical ledger prototype on the IBM Bluemix Platform during my first corporate role as a software engineer.I’ve also had the privilege of training corporate teams on topics such as Blockchain, ITGCs, Internal Controls, SOC 1/SOC 2 Assessments, Cyber security Risk Assessment, and SQL Data Analytics during annual corporate meetings and training series.| My Strengths |According to the DISC Workplace Behavior Assessment, I exhibit an IS (Influence, Steadiness) working style—meaning I’m adaptable, collaborative, accommodating, and people-oriented.My professional journey has allowed me to work with clients across diverse industries including Travel & Leisure, Banking, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Manufacturing, and Brokerage/Lending.
