As an international infrastructure investments and specialist with a technical (infrastructure), legal acumen and with ~12 years of experience of working with development organisations (World Bank, FCDO, GIZ), blue-chip utility companies, and government organisations(National, Sub-national and city level) across strategic urban and economic infrastructure in waste, waste to energy, wastewater, mobility, water, energy, and industrial zones sectors, I have worked on a variety of projects ranging from investment/policy advisory to capital structuring to complex financial & economic analysis/valuations to transaction advisory with a special focus on ‘Resilient & Green Infrastructure and services, Financial Sustainability & Blended Financing, and & Private Sector Financing’. I have worked extensively across India, Nepal, Myanmar, Egypt and Iraq with international development partners (World Bank, DFID, GIZ, UKRI) and has also advised multiple international (UK, USA, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Philippines) private sector clients across waste, waste to energy, wastewater, water, renewable energy, fuel cells and industrial zones sectors. I have also worked across multiple engagements relating to role of and blended financing in achieving SDGs, low-carbon transition of cities, climate change mitigation & adaptation from multi-sectoral city level interventions, and resource circular economy for wastewater & waste. I have also advised on designing financial intermediaries and credit enhancement instruments for scaling finance at the pooled facilities as well as part of specific investments. My experience enables me to deeply understand both private and public as well as development partners perspective with respect to investment analysis & due diligence as well as investment risk perceptions that are critical for successfully transacting a sustainable and implementing resilient and sustainable infrastructure investments.
