Hi All,My name is Ankush Pal. I am working as a SOFTWARE ASSET MANAGEMENT (SAM) & CONFIGURATION SPECIALIST CORE (CMDB) with the designation of IT ANALYST at TCS. My total experience is 8 years (2 years working experience in TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES & 6 years working experience in COGNIZANT TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION). My job role is-• Working in the Configuration Management Database System (CMDB) team.• Decommissions Windows servers, Linux servers, ESX servers and mapped applications as per change request.• Performing daily tasks, weekly tasks and monthly tasks and also producing weekly reports and monthly reports and sharing them with clients.• Raise discovery server’s request.• Add, remove & update Upstream and Downstream relationships on servers, mapped applications & business applications as per ad-hoc requests raised by the team.• Working with clients directly and joining clients call on a daily basis. Also works with the asset management team to complete our tasks.• Assign the Ad-hoc service request to our team and complete the task as per requirement.• Create SOP’s of our activities and share them with our clients for future reference.• Generate and create a report from Service-Now as per request.Now I am looking for an opportunity where I can utilize my skills and knowledge and also improve my skills.
