Project: Consumer Protection Framework Synopsis: Under federal laws and regulations, banks must comply with many consumer protections. These protections help make sure Canadians have access to basic banking services and are treated fairly in their dealings with banks. The project involved generating tableau reports from the solution deployed to adhere to consumer protection framework. It helped in demonstrating the bank’s compliance with the federal law which if failed would lead to a fine of $10 million. Technology Stack: Hive, Tableau, Sql Server Primary Responsibilities: Generated custom data tables that processed and categorized appropriate selling data under various LOBs and gave the number of total sales in each LOB while adhering to CPF. Applied efficient data analysis techniques in order to gather data and to represent it via Tableau Represented key data points via KPIs, chart etc. Gathered, reviewed, analyzed, validated and mapped system data into the data warehouse to meet reporting and analytical business needs, performed ETL via Alteryx. Developed reports applying mathematical and statistical calculation techniques on the data prepared in order to generate reports/dashboards according to the business needs and requirements. Solved data discrepancy issues and bugs to show the correct data in visualizations/reports. Built custom calculated tables, charts and data points in tableau. Held business meetings for critical issues during the development and testing phase of the data reports. Well communicated the progress, blockers etc related to the project to the stakeholder.
