ABOUT ANKUR HAZRA
I am a Battery Materials Scientist with hands-on experience in pilot-scale manufacturing and characterization of Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) cathode materials for lithium-ion and EV batteries. Currently, I am a Junior Scientist at GFCL EV Pvt. Ltd, where I handle synthesis, process execution, and physical, chemical, and electrochemical characterization of LFP to support high-quality EV battery production. I am skilled in grinding, spray drying, calcination (Kiln), and jet milling, with expertise in particle size analyzer, C&S analyzer, Powder resistivity and Compaction density (PRCD), SEM, XRD, and quantitative iron and phosphorus analysis for quality assurance. I hold an MTech in Materials Science and Engineering from IIT Kharagpur, specializing in Li-ion battery cathode development, including carbon-coated LFP synthesis via sol-gel, hydrothermal, co-precipitation, and solid-state methods, electrode fabrication, coin-cell assembly, and electrochemical testing, with additional exposure to sodium-ion battery cathode materials during a summer internship at IIT Bombay. I am passionate about EV battery manufacturing, cathode process development, scale-up, and industrial R&D, with a strong foundation in materials science and chemistry. Let\'s connect!
