   Implement Treatment Plans: Directly provide one-on-one therapy and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and skill acquisition programs developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).* Data Collection: Meticulously collect, record, and summarize data on client behavior and progress during sessions to track the effectiveness of interventions.* Skill Development: Assist clients in acquiring and generalizing essential skills, such as:* Communication skills * Social and play skills * Self-care and daily living skills * Academic or vocational skills * Use Positive Reinforcement: Apply evidence-based techniques, especially positive reinforcement, to encourage desired behaviors and foster a positive learning environment.* Client Monitoring and Support: Monitor the client\'s behavior throughout sessions, respond appropriately to challenging behaviors as outlined in the BIP, and ensure client safety and well-being.* Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open, professional communication with the supervising BCBA, and often with parents, caregivers, and other team members (like teachers or therapists) regarding the client\'s progress and the consistent implementation of the plan.* Maintain Records: Complete daily session notes and maintain accurate, confidential records and documentation of services provided.* Receive Supervision: Regularly meet with and receive supervision from a BCBA or qualified supervisor to ensure the quality of services and receive ongoing training.
