   Crude Oil Operations - Handling cargo operations for WTI Midland Crude Oil, West African and rest of the world Crude oil.Supporting traders in business development by gathering information for ongoing or new business opportunities.Effective planning and setting up operations for the load and discharge ports for Crude Oil Grades so to optimise the voyage time, voyage costs to ensure Trade P&L is maintained.Reduce operations exposures like freight costs, Demurrage costs, Insurance costs etc to have a positive impact on the deal P&L.Take part in finalising the off-take contracts, term deals, spot deals, lifting contracts to ensure deal exposures are covered and found out proactively.Establishing and maintaining relationships with International counter parties, charterers, brokers, agents, Cargo Inspectors and third-party service providers on a regular basis. Coordinate with Hedging team, Trade Finance, Contracts, Structural trade finance, settlements team to ensure every team functions in tandem with operations.Negotiating with terminal operators, counterparties and port authorities to optimise the logistics and minimise costs.Gain thorough an understanding of pricing & hedging exposure on every deal and actively manage the P&L along with the Deals desk / Risk Management teamAssist chartering team to find suitable vessels for the liftings and help with vessel clearance, freight calculations and pre and post fixture optimisation of oil tanker vessels.Assist claims teams to handle Demurrage claims, Freight claims, Dispute resolution to gain maximum commercial advantage.Understanding Credit terms associated with the deal and helping trade finance team in LC negotiations.
