I am a Legal and Regulatory leader with over 12 years of experience in the FMCG industry. As the Associate Vice President of Legal at Honasa Consumer Ltd, I oversee the in-house legal function of India\'s fastest-growing personal care brands like Mamaearth, The Derma co, Aqualogica, Ayuga, Bblunt, Dr. Sheth\'s & Staze. My core competencies include managing and negotiating complex commercial transactions, ensuring compliance with various laws and regulations, protecting the brand\'s intellectual property rights and providing first principal solutions to the ever changing landscape of business. I also advise the management on IP, data protection, and e-commerce laws, and represent the company in litigations and arbitrations. Besides, I am a member of the Consumer Complaints Council at the Advertising Standards Council of India, where I support ethical and responsible advertising practices. I have received multiple awards for my achievements and contributions, such as the Marico Values Award, the CXO Award, The Honasa Scotch Award and the Honasa Avengers Award and The General Counsel Hall of Fame (Leading in-house counsels of India) I hold a Master of Law (LL.M)degree in Intellectual Property Law from National Law University, Jodhpur, and a B.A.LL.B (Hons.) degree in Law from Nirma University.
