As a Business Analyst, I work independently and with a lot of flexibility. I consult at all levels, developing good relationships with delivery partners and our Global Functions. I am expected to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously, taking a lead role in larger projects and directing all Analyst activity. I am typically responsible for requirements management, design, change and implementation management:Requirements management and design - I work collaboratively with delivery partners and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather, translate and clarify requirements and define design options. In systems-related projects and programs, I also support Software Delivery and IT Operations with the translation of business requirements into more detailed functional specifications, often representing the voice of the customer and business in these discussions.Change management – As a BA, my change management activities span early change planning and audience analysis, through to designing and delivering change interventions (e.g. communications, training, support and organization alignment), as well as tracking and taking actions on change readiness, adoption, and feedback.Implementation management –As a Business Analyst, my responsibilities include planning, controlling and reporting on the implementation of the change ‘product’, focusing on accelerating benefits and minimizing risk during deployment. Implementation activities also include managing implementation readiness and the early stages of implementation (e.g. pilot).
