About Ankita Nandi

I am an Analog Design Engineer (ESD) at Texas Instruments with a PhD in Analog VLSI from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, where I worked in the NeuRonICS Lab under Prof. Chetan Singh Thakur. My doctoral research focused on high-performance, energy-efficient computing circuits and systems — spanning analog, digital, and mixed-signal approaches for in-memory computing, neuromorphic architectures, signal processing, and LDPC error correction. I pursued my M.Tech at IIT Gandhinagar (nanoDC Lab, Prof. Joycee Mekie) and B.Tech at NIT Meghalaya, where I built a strong foundation in circuit design, device modeling, and system-level integration. Beyond core circuit design, I am interested in applying AI/ML techniques for design flow improvement, such as design space exploration, verification acceleration, and hardware-aware algorithm optimization for edge SoCs. I see this as a key enabler for pushing the boundaries of silicon innovation. My journey has been recognized with prestigious fellowships, including the Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral Fellowship (USA) and the Prime Minister’s Research Fellowship (India).
