ABOUT ANKITA MOHANTY
I am an analytical, energetic, and passionate Electrical and Electronics undergraduate with a strong sense of work ethics. An ardent desire to learn, never giving-up attitude, and fascination towards electronics is what defines me. I am hard-working and sincere who enjoys research and development. An explorer and a hobbyist who likes to design, create, experiment, optimize, and troubleshoot. I am inquisitive and love to learn new things. This quality has impelled me to go beyond the textbooks and engage myself in different projects. I believe a great part of learning lies in doing. I am determined, committed, and result-oriented with a great eye for details. In my university, I have been part of teams like Team Uttejit, VIT Vellore’s only Formula Student Hybrid Team aimed at developing a working prototype of Formula Hybrid cars solely by a team of dedicated undergraduate engineers, and VIT Sounding Rocket Team. I enjoy designing circuits, modifying them and show my creativity through circuit-designing, while ensuring the circuit meets its functionality. I have a good knowledge of simulation software like MATLAB- Simulink, PSpice, Multisim, OrCAD, and PCB designing software like KiCAD, Eagle, and Proteus. Working with dynamic teams has helped me to appreciate the importance of communication and being a team player. I take pride in doing a little bit of everything. I also like to teach. My experience as an Outreach mentor at Students for Exploration and Development of Space (SEDS) made me realize that teaching is a great way of learning while engaging with others. I have taught students of primary, secondary, and higher secondary schools various aspects of space science like space explorations and the basic phenomenon of physics involved.I believe there is always more to learn. Looking forward to more such opportunities where I can implement core concepts into developing valuable products.
