ABOUT ANKITA MATTA

I graduated as a Computer Science Masters student from the University of Southern California (USC). I have reasonable experience working on Java, C++, C, Python, JavaScript, MySQL, Git, etc. projects both at the university level as well as during my tenure of 3+ years as a Systems Engineer in TCS - one of the biggest IT brands in the world. I was part of the both Development and Technical Support teams during the period.Further, as a graduate student, I have had the wonderful opportunity to work for below companies :1) TensorIoT Inc.(a member of Amazon\'z AWS Partner Network (APN)): Completed a thoroughly fulfilling summer internship working on ML projects like Object Detection and Tracking (using AWS services), Detection of Facial Imperfections using Python/OpenCV, Age and Gender Determination, MTCNN (Multi-task Cascaded Convolutional Network) and Concrete Crack Detection using UAV/Drone images (research based).2) Edtera (an educational company aiming to improve student engagement and teacher productivity through personalized learning) Created Spring Boot application for integrating different LMSs (Learning Management Systems) like Canvas, Moodle, Schoology etc. with the company website. The purpose was to fetch the LMS grades for students enrolled with Edtera. Used RESTful APIs for communication. Worked on frontend designing (Figma) and backend as well.A few other projects I have worked on:1) Designed a toy kernel/Operating System in C as part of OS curriculum.2) Coded for computer network projects like ‘Socket Programming’, Statistical TDM, Bellman-Ford Algorithm (Distance Vector Routing Protocol), Count hops between routers etc.3) Coded for games like Bulgarian Solitaire, Minesweeper, Scrabble, Anagram Finder etc.4) Created a fully functional responsive Stock Search web site based on Angular frontend and NodeJS/Express backend.Please refer to my resume for more project details.Thank You!
