I am responsible for managing and executing new product development / ECN projects from concept to production. This includes design, development, validation, and implementation of new components or systems while ensuring quality, cost, and timing targets are achieved. The role requires close coordination with cross-functional teams including design, quality, production, purchase, and suppliers.1. Manage end-to-end product development cycle – from concept, prototype, and testing to mass production.2. Prepare and review, PFMEA, control plans, and APQP documentation.3. Conduct feasibility studies for new parts, materials, and manufacturing processes.4. Support design reviews and ensure DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturability & Assembly) compliance.5. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for tool development, sample approval, and quality validation.6. Lead PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) activities and ensure on-time submission.7. Work with quality and production teams to resolve technical issues during trials and ramp-up.8. Support VA/VE (Value Analysis/Value Engineering) initiatives to reduce cost and improve efficiency.9. Track and report project milestones using project management tools or timelines.10. Ensure compliance with ISO/IATF 16949 and company quality standards. Key Skills and Competencies:Good understanding of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA. Good knowledge of Engineering drawing.Hands-on experience with prototype development, tooling, and validation.Good project management and problem-solving skills.Good communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
