In my role, I am responsible for overseeing the entire supply chain of raw materials essential for the successful operation of a Compressed Biogas plant. The primary raw materials sourced include agricultural waste such as Paddy Straw, Animal Dung, Napier Grass, and other related materials. My key responsibilities include:Vendor Identification & Selection: Identifying, analyzing, and selecting reliable vendors who supply the necessary raw materials, ensuring compliance with company guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Area Monitoring & Quality Control: Monitoring vendor locations to ensure compliance with quality standards, conducting regular checks on material quality to maintain the consistency required for plant operations.Field Operations Oversight: Managing and optimizing the field operations of vendors, ensuring smooth and efficient operations in terms of material collection, baling, and timely delivery.Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinating between multiple stakeholders, including machine suppliers, field operators, vendors, and farmers, to enhance baling efficiency and ensure seamless operations across the supply chain.Price Negotiation: Negotiating competitive pricing with vendors, balancing cost control with supply chain efficiency, and fostering long-term business relationships.Documentation & Compliance: Overseeing the documentation processes, including bills, invoices, challans, slips, and tokens, ensuring all records are accurately maintained and aligned with regulatory standards.My focus is on optimizing raw material flow, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring the smooth functioning of all processes to support the plant\'s goals of sustainable bioenergy production.
