RTFI (Radiographic Film Interpretation): Interpreted digital and manual X-ray films for detection of internal casting defects (e.g, shrinkage, porosity, cold shuts) as per ASTM standards.2. DPT (Dye Penetrant Testing):Performed Liquid Penetrant Testing using solvent removable and water-washable techniques to detect surface cracks and open defects on wheel surfaces.3. Dimensional Inspection:Carried out precise dimensional checks of wheels using Vernier calipers, bore gauges, and templates to ensure compliance with design tolerances and control plans.4. LPDC Machine Monitoring (Kalink & Die Castel):Monitored process parameters such as metal temperature, pressure holding time, shot cycle time, and die cooling to maintain consistent quality in wheel casting.5. Spectro Lab Operations:Checked [Density Index (DI)] to evaluate gas porosity level in molten metal using hot and cold sampling methods.Conducted spectrochemical analysis using Optical Emission Spectrometer (OES) to measure the percentage of key elements:Base Elements: Al, Si, MgImpurities/Modifiers: Fe, Ti, B, SrSampled made by mixing ingots, rejected wheels, and CNC chips to maintain melt quality.6.
