As a Consultant - Infrastructure & Development at Better World Foundation in Ranchi, I spearheaded the Samekit Birsa Gram Vikas Yojana -sah- Krishak Pathshala Yojana for the Directorate of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperative, Govt. of Jharkhand. My role involved overseeing state-wide construction projects and ensuring smooth infrastructure development across Jharkhand through detailed project proposals and close collaboration with the Project Management Unit and local teams. Key responsibilities included conducting surveys for watershed interventions in Birsa Villages, developing comprehensive project plans, and monitoring implementation to uphold environmental and technical standards for sustainable water conservation. Additionally, I facilitated the establishment of Farmer Producer Organizations (FPOs), organized workshops to showcase FPO models, and provided training to enhance farmer capabilities in cooperative management and financial skills, thereby fostering agricultural productivity and community empowerment. Procurement management, including RFP preparation and tender oversight, was also integral to my role, ensuring transparent and efficient processes aligned with government regulations. Furthermore, my contributions extended to the Agri Smart Village Project, focusing on inclusive agricultural development, and compiling a compendium for the Aga Khan Rural Support Programme, highlighting best practices in water management to promote sustainable initiatives across tribal areas in Jharkhand.
