ABOUT ANKIT ARON

Hi, I\'m Ankit (he/him). I am passionate about Project Management, the different techniques involved, and the implementation of these techniques during the project lifecycle. I was introduced to lean construction in my recent project and was fascinated by its usefulness in the construction industry. I am a Project Management Professional (PMP) and have also enrolled myself as an Engineer In Training (EIT) with PEO and a Gold Seal Intern (GSI) with the Canadian Construction Association.Within the Project Management domain, I wear many hats:As a Scope Manager, I make sure that the project follows the scope using a Scope Management Plan and RTMAs a Schedule Manager, I plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress against established schedules. I am adaptable at using Primavera P6 and MS Project for Preparing, Managing, and Controlling Project SchedulesAs a Risk Manager, I forecast and plan for any foreseeable hurdles come up with a Risk Management Plan, and communicate with the contractors/client to petition the Change Requests As a Change Manager, I capture all the RFIs and get the owner, project consultants, and engineers to review and develop Change Requests for trades. I keep a log of all these changes in the Change Log to keep track on scope creepAs a Communications Manager, I make sure there is no one left in the dark and that everyone from the Management Team to site staff is well informed of what is happening on the projectAs a Cost Manager, I prepare monthly progress billings. I undertake a detailed analysis of the Earned Value Management Log v/s Actual BillingsAs a Quality Manager, I regularly audit the material received on-site and carry out regular site inspections to keep a check on the progress on site v/s IFC Drawings
