With over 19 years of experience in Information Security and Technology Risk Management, I am a passionate and proactive Cyber Risk Leader who leads Cyber, Technology and Resiliency risks management program for American Express as a part of Second line of defence function. I am involved in strategic alignment of program and ensuring risks are managed within the establishment Risk Appetite framework. I lead and coach a team of Cybersecurity and Tech risk professionals who implement and oversee Technology Risk activities based on industry-leading frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001/2, regulatory guidances such as OCC Heightened Standards, FFIEC Guidance and emerging risks.I have engineered, implemented, and managed IT Security Services and Security Operations, including the roll out of the next generation Identity and Access Management solution, which involved budget management, vendor management, and stakeholder management. I have a strong end-to-end knowledge and hands-on experience of IT Security technologies and IT Security Service Management, as well as practical understanding of different domains of Information Security. I am certified in CISSP, CISM, CCSP and CCSK.
