Leading 2 hour public and private walking tours of Horn Point Laboratory as a means to share and educate about environmental problems and restoration occurring on the Chesapeake Bay, Horn Point\'s Oyster Hatchery, as well as the research being conducted at the lab. These tours hone public speaking skills, scientific outreach ability to non-scientists, and provide an important service to the laboratory.

ABOUT ANJI COOPER
Current graduate research assistant at University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science, conducting research on sedimentation in living shorelines for coastal erosion, and working towards a PhD in the Marine, Estuarine, and Environmental Science Program. Graduated from the University of Delaware honors college Magna Cum Laude with a BS in Environmental Science, a Concentration in Marine Science, a Spanish Minor and an Eco-Entrepreneurship Certificate. A strong leader with a global perspective, proven skills in research and laboratory techniques through two summer internships at University of Maryland, a research assistantship at University of Delaware, and two years as a Chemistry teaching assistant and mentor.
