As Regional Head – Business Development (North India), I led the company’s business growth strategy across key northern states, focusing on infrastructure sectors including urban transport, metro rail, roads & highways, smart cities, and water supply & sanitation.Key responsibilities included:•Driving end-to-end business acquisition efforts, from opportunity identification to proposal submission and client engagement across government, multilateral, and private sectors.•Leading the bid management process, including coordination with technical, financial, legal, and commercial teams to prepare compelling and compliant proposals.•Establishing and nurturing strong relationships with ULBs, state departments, EPC firms, and consulting partners, contributing to successful project awards and long-term collaborations.•Strategizing and forming Joint Ventures and Consortiums with Indian and international partners for complex infrastructure projects.•Supporting the delivery teams in aligning project planning, documentation, and execution with client expectations and contract scope.•Spearheading liaison efforts with key ministries and funding agencies, including MoHUA, NMCG, Jal Jeevan Mission, Smart Cities Mission, and international bodies like ADB & World Bank.•Contributing to the firm’s revenue growth and order book expansion in North India through a structured and client-focused approach.•Represented Egis at conferences, stakeholder workshops, and government forums, promoting brand visibility and thought leadership.This role allowed me to integrate technical insight, commercial strategy, and stakeholder management into a unified growth-oriented framework for Egis India’s regional operations
