ABOUT ANJALY MENON

I am a passionate and detail-oriented healthcare professional with over two years of hospital pharmacy experience in India and growing clinical research expertise in the UK. Currently, I serve as a Clinical Research Coordinator at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, where I support the delivery of complex clinical trials, manage patient coordination within the HIDO clinic, and contribute to PPIE (Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement) activities.My academic foundation includes an MSc in Pharmacology and Drug Discovery from Coventry University, where I’m deepening my understanding of modern drug development, translational medicine, and regulatory frameworks. I also hold a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy and am certified in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and research ethics via the NIHR.Previously, I worked as a hospital pharmacist at Columbia Asia Hospitals and HCG Cancer Centre in India, with hands-on experience in oncology pharmacy, chemotherapy preparation, medication safety, and patient counselling. These roles helped me build strong skills in multidisciplinary teamwork, patient-centred care, and documentation compliance.As a volunteer pharmacist at UHCW NHS Trust, I have contributed to patient feedback analysis and quality improvement initiatives, reinforcing my commitment to compassionate, ethical, and evidence-based care.
