Building GIG’s Data Privacy Program from the Ground UpCurrently leading the development of GIG’s data privacy framework, combining regulatory expertise with operational execution. Key responsibilities include:• Designing privacy processes aligned with global standards (GDPR, DPDP, CCPA) and supporting ISO 27701 and ISO 27001 implementation.• Shortlisting and onboarding third-party vendors to support privacy tooling, assessments, and compliance infrastructure.• Drafting core privacy documentation including privacy policies, notices, and internal governance protocols.• Collaborating with legal, IT, and product teams to embed privacy by design and ensure scalable, compliant data practices.• Establishing vendor evaluation criteria, consent management workflows, and data governance frameworks.• Driving internal awareness and training to foster a privacy-first culture.This role allows me to shape GIG’s privacy posture from the ground up—bridging strategy, compliance, and execution to build a resilient and future-ready foundation.
