ABOUT ANJALI SUNDARAM
I currently work on CNBC\'s 6pm program, Mad Money with Jim Cramer. I\'m interested in truth-telling and story-telling, and I love being able to figure out how to best present the news of the day on television for our viewers. Currently, I focus on line producing our daily, live-to-tape show, alongside booking CEOs for interview segments, producing written pieces through graphics and banner creation, and working on Mad Money\'s long-term \"evergreen\" shows that we re-air when Jim Cramer is off. I also have helped line produce and create live specials when needed.Previously, I worked on CNBC\'s 5am program, Worldwide Exchange, producing guest segments, sourcing video, writing copy, and handling graphics in the control room. Prior to that, I was on the 6-9am program, Squawk Box, in New York. As the production assistant, I was on set, greeting high-profile guests of the show and ensuring a smooth run of show for the anchors and producers. I would also help act as a liaison between the morning team and the dayside team. I then transitioned to dayside, finding stories, booking guests for the premier financial news program, and producing segments from start to finish. I would also help with guest write-ups and occasionally do exclusive reporting for CNBC.com.I am interested in pursuing a career in filmmaking and TV production. The summer before I interned at CNBC, I interned at idFM Radio Enghien, a radio station in Enghien-les-Bains, France, where I got to produce daily stories about Paris. I have also been a Program Assistant at Great Books Summer Program, have worked as a receptionist at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, and have volunteered as an assistant teacher at White River Ballet Academy. My passion for finding and telling stories has led me to where I am now, and I look forward to being able to continue to hone and cultivate these skills!
