Instrumentation Engineer with experience in Basic/ Detail Engineering, Design, Procurement and Construction of complex and integrated upstream and downstream oil & gas projects and Petrochemical projects • Finalizing the list of deliverables in consultation with Project Manager based on contract requirement before commencement of work. • Preparation of control system architecture, control room layout, specification, IO distribution • Preparation of Design Basis Document, Technical Specification, Data Sheet, Loop and Logic Diagrams, material requisition for purchase, technical evaluation of bids, vendor prints review • Preparation of detailed design drawings/ documents: Instrument Index, I/O List, Wiring Diagram, Interconnection Diagram, Instrument Layout, Instrument installation arrangement, Design of P&I diagram, Review of P&I D. • INtools administration for various tasks such as initial set up, creating instrument type profiles, database development, duplication of units in INtools, customization of datasheets, customization of loop lay-outs etc. • Coordination with other departments like Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping, Civil etc. • FAT and SAT of DCS systems. • Preparation of As Built Drawings. • Business Development including procurement and Cost estimation for control and Instrument systems, related to Major client projects in Refineries, Petrochemical Industries, Power plants and Waste water treatment plants • Maximize contact with key persons and other critical people at various client organizations. • Focus efforts to obtain new work and generation of new inquiries for the business. • Ensure pre-qualification of the organization with existing and potential customers, to enable us to be in a position to bid for projects within our spheres of capabilities. • Interact with Managers to maintain relationships with customers during project execution, especially from the point of generating additional work orders.
