About Anjali Nagarajan

With a passion for biotechnology and a drive to make a positive impact on society, I completed my Master\'s degree in Biotechnology at Texas A&M University, from where I have gained hands-on experience in various aspects of molecular biology, genetics, and bioinformatics. I have also acquired multiple certifications in topics such as the biology of cancer, programming fundamentals, and bioinformatics for beginners, demonstrating my eagerness to learn and expand my skill set.Currently, I work for Natera as Clinical Lab Operator in the Non-Invasive Prenatal Testing department at Austin. I work worked as a Student Intern at Texas A&M Health Science Center, where I was involved in a project to produce CAR-T cells that are effective against different types of cancer which caused a nutrient deprived environment. I was also a Student Research Assistant at Dr Mahnke\'s Lab, Department of Neuroscience and Experimental Therapeutics, where I assisted in the analysis of genetic and epigenetic data from mouse models of neurodegenerative diseases. Through these roles, I have developed competencies in buffer preparation, DNA isolation, and GeneMapper software, as well as enhanced my teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. My goal is to leverage my knowledge and experience to pursue full-time positions in biotechnology or related industries, where I can contribute to the development of life-saving drugs and therapeutics.
