I have a penchant for running highly functional teams - exercising growth mindset to overcome obstacles is my superpower. I focus on execution and delivery while knowing how important it’s to absorb randomness and chaos for the team’s success and organizational goals - all while ensuring the team is recognized as a highly functional unit and everyone on the team has opportunities to meet their personal and professional goals. It’s not easy, but I try everyday -)I aim to provide value in running large scale distributed systems and services with a focus to deliver customer experiences. I am passionate about end user product experiences, scalable and resilient cloud service architectures, live site health and monitoring along with using data driven engineering practices to iterate on shipped products. Incremental improvement based on user and data feedback is a critical aspect of shipping software, which I deeply care about.Currently I lead a team of engineers who are responsible for enabling Microsoft’s enterprise purchase/commerce experiences for Azure and Office - two fastest growing products in Microsoft history! We collectively own a charter which brings upwards of billions of dollars annually for enterprise commerce. My area of expertise is building and running live services which support online commerce and purchase stack across Microsoft ecosystem.I aspire to provide opportunities for my team to achieve what they intrinsically desire - we meet our goals while keeping a learning attitude and maintaining a healthy work-life balance everyday. I lead with compassion - action oriented empathy is what I strive for and my daily motivation is bringing value and positivity to my team and work. I truly believe that it’s the consistency which is more important than perfection. I am a working mom - juggling priorities and multitasking to achieve success is second nature to me -)I work in an extremely fast moving and collaborative environment, and I am adept at achieving my team goals and commitments. While working on numerous high impacting projects at Microsoft, I have gathered ample experience in getting quality code shipped - right from being responsible to design, implement, test, deploy and debug production code to being the person who gets paged when live site traffic isn’t healthy. I love the responsibility which comes with being a software developer and the impact of technology to improve human lives motivates me everyday.

My focus areas besides the obvious tech remains nurturing my directs and organization to achieve high impact results while meeting their goals at life and work. I aspire to build and lead an organization where people are motivated to make things happen but not burn themselves out while doing that -) Leading with Empathy & Care are my superpowers.
