Managing Structural Engineering calculations and submitting the product requirements for DOT approvals.Aid the Geotechnical team in performing stability analysis of the retaining walls when needed, as per project requirementsWork consistently to give Value Engineering Solutions to the clients which are essentially cost effective.Perform R&D related to the new products to help release them into the market after they are proof tested.Involved in the Product Development phase by designing new Reinforcement layouts for the above-mentioned proprietary systems (Gravix & Forix) and analyzed the existing Reinforcement layouts to check its capacity in Moment and Shear. Involved in Optima system design (similar to MSE wall system) by performing Reinforcement rod and Connector plate checks, concrete pullout strength and reinforcement pullout design checks.Performed Structural Calculations including Finite Element Analysis using softwares like MathCAD Prime, RISA-3D and for the state DOT and AREMA product approvals.Designed Reinforcement layout for the Gravix system to resist four tracks of Cooper E80 Rail loading and conforming to AREMA specifications.Developed Microsoft Excel spreadsheets to help in both Structural and Geotechnical calculations.Designed 36”, 42” and 45” Traffic Barrier to resist TL3, TL4 and TL5 MASH Impact loading as per AASHTO.Designed 18ft x 6ft x 1.5ft culvert headwall (without the reinforcement rods or reinforcement straps) to resist the horizontal earth pressure with just structural reinforcement.Perform the Retaining wall Design and Analysis using the in-house geotechnical design software by checking sliding, overturning, eccentricity and bearing, based on the information provided in the contract plans and geotechnical reports.Produce project plans, sketches, calculations and quantity estimates for the preliminary bids and final project approvals.Project progress tracking using JIRA and sales tracking using Salesforce Lightning.
