ABOUT ANJA NAUTA

I earned a Bachelor\'s degree in Psychology from Stellenbosch University, where I majored in Psychology, Social Anthropology, Meta-science, and Philosophy. Subsequently, I pursued an Honours degree in Psychology at University of South Africa (UNISA), focusing my thesis on the fascinating exploration of the role of age, identity, and parental influences in the moral development of adolescents. Furthermore, I successfully completed a Post-graduate certificate in Education (PGCE) Foundation phase with distinction at Cornerstone Institute. My teaching journey has taken me on an incredibly fulfilling path, starting with my dedicated three-and-a-half years at Laerskool Jan van Riebeeck. I then moved on to Al Shomoukh International School, where I eagerly embraced the opportunity to expand my expertise and build meaningful connections with a diverse student body. Now, I am continuing my journey as an elementary teacher at the International School of Bremen in Germany. These experiences at Jan van Riebeeck, Al Shomoukh International School, and now the International School of Bremen have profoundly shaped my comprehensive understanding of education, further fueling my unwavering passion for teaching. Motivated by my dedication to professional growth, I have completed two CPD-approved courses in Play Therapy (Level 1 & 2). Moreover, I am accredited to conduct school readiness assessments, providing invaluable support in this crucial area. These educational accomplishments and rich experiences have laid a strong foundation in the fields of psychology and education, empowering me with the essential skills to offer compassionate guidance through play therapy and expertly conduct school readiness assessments.
