ABOUT ANJALI MOORTHY
Born in the States and raised in India, I’ve always enjoyed the thrill of sparking and cementing relationships. I’m a versatile worker and like to adapt to each new director’s (and crew’s) mechanisms. Level-headed when it gets hot in the cockpit, I find joy in effective de-escalation and optimizing time to create the most beautiful project possible. As an actor, I strive to be receptive to direction and feedback. The common factor: I can always promise my utmost dedication. I love being able to contribute global perspective to artistic endeavors in film and theatre; I’m a strong advocate for interdisciplinary art, and aim to make the musical theatre experience more accessible through my films, both in live-action and animation. I am committed to a vision of effortless, normalized representation in cinema, and want a career in entertainment to keep my inner child alive and well.
