At AWS Payments, I designed, supported and implemented solutions across the organization, with direct impact to ~4M customers- Lead the technical decision for Direct Debit payments in UK, with the potential to support ~200k Customers and collect ~£275B in revenue. I worked with a team of 9 engineers across 8 organizations: Defined use-cases, proposed end to end high level design, addressed technical dependencies, defined testing approach and rollout strategies- Drove the delivery of Private Fixed Exchange Rates for enterprise and institutional customers by leading a team of 6 engineers across 3 domains. The solution we launched addressed the needs of Enterprise AWS Customers across 22 countries and currencies. I worked with the product managers to implement the private dynamic offering by taking into account customer contracts and preferences. My solution re-used the existing architecture/workflows while introducing a new API for the management of the FX Programs lifecycle in a way that further adoption of the schema can take place- Defined and implemented use-cases for AWS Customer\'s payment method using IAM permission with 4 engineers across 2 teams. We defined and created ~25M records to be compliant with the Consistent Authorization Experience standard- Supported the acceleration and launch of AWS partitions (such as GovCloud and European Sovereign Cloud) using IaC/CI/CD technologies by removing region specific logic. Later, this approach was taken and re-used by the organization as their standard- Supported the enablement of local currency pricing and disbursement for AWS Marketplace Sellers outside of the US in 22 different currencies- Discovered and mitigated at least 7 vulnerabilities, which included internal and external risks- Coached engineers across the organization, with 8 promoted from Junior to Senior level. Conducted 54 interviews for junior and mid-level engineering positions.
