   As VPMR, I play a critical leadership role in shaping the chapter’s future, strengthening sisterhood, and fostering a welcoming, inclusive environment. It’s a challenging yet incredibly rewarding position that allows me to leave a lasting impact on my chapter. Here are some of my key responsibilities: 1. Planning & Executing Recruitment- Organizing and leading the chapter’s formal and informal recruitment efforts throughout the year- Developing a detailed recruitment plan, including themes, logistics, and scheduling- Ensuring recruitment follows Alpha Phi International guidelines and Panhellenic regulations.2. Training & Preparing the Chapter- Leading workshops and training sessions to prepare members for recruitment- Coaching members on conversations, values-based recruitment, and engagement strategies- Creating a positive and inclusive recruitment environment to ensure every potential new member (PNM) has a great experience.3. Managing Recruitment Operations- Overseeing selection, voting, and membership criteria to ensure fairness and alignment with Alpha Phi’s values- Collaborating with advisors, the Membership Recruitment Advisor, and International Officers for guidance- Working closely with the recruitment team (such as Directors of Primary & Continuous Open Bidding Recruitment) to delegate tasks efficiently.4. Marketing & Outreach- Promoting Alpha Phi on campus through branding, social media, and engagement events- Overseeing pre-recruitment efforts, including outreach to potential new members and Panhellenic involvement- Ensuring that Alpha Phi’s values, sisterhood, and leadership opportunities are well represented.5. Post-Recruitment & Retention- Coordinating Bid Day celebrations and ensuring a smooth transition for new members- Assisting with new member education to maintain enthusiasm and retention- Collecting feedback and analytics to improve future recruitment efforts.
