As the Adoption & Foster Manager, I oversee the entire adoption and foster process which includes leading the Adoption and Foster Volunteer Teams. Responsibilities include reviewing and assigning adoption and foster applications, managing volunteers, managing foster home volunteers, updating internal documents and shelter software data, communicating with key team members, responding to adoption and foster inquiries, coordinating and leading adoption events, finalizing adoptions, conducting virtual phone interviews and home visits, in-person meet and greets with potential families, and implementing methods to streamline the adoption and foster process.
