About Anita Dwyer

Human Resources leader with over 35 years of experience in employee relations, change management, organizational effectiveness strategies, leadership and mentoring programs, and career consulting and franchise integration. Expertise in behavioral interview techniques, recruitment and staffing. HR background includes 23 years in financial services HR, and 8 years in career and organizational development consulting. Currently a Strategic HR Consultant for the Midwest and West Divsions and National Account Operations group at Manpower in Chicago, Illinois. Have been a member of SHRM for over 25 years. Have also been a guest speaker at many thought leadership events and appeared on FOX news. I have spoken on such topics as Diversity, ADA, Employment Law, How to Prepare for a Reduction in Force, Coaching and Performance Management and other HR topics relevant to the World of Work. Working in the community is of great interest to me. My husband and I manage a homeless shelter (which is run by volunteers) through the West Suburban PADS organization in Oak Park, Illinois for the last seven years. Also act as an HR Advisor sitting on the HR Council for Thrive, an Oak Park based social services agency. Academically, Earned B.S.Degree at Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois.
