I’m a communications leader focused on protecting trust and building it, especially when the stakes are high. I’m the Senior Manager, Media Relations & Issues Management at TransLink, where I lead earned media strategy, issues communications, support social storytelling as part of a coordinated division-wide approach, and serve as a spokesperson.Before moving in-house, I hosted CBC Vancouver News at 6pm and worked as a reporter across TV, radio, and digital. I have covered breaking news and national stories, and regularly backfilled as a host on CBC’s flagship national newscast - The National. After nearly two decades behind the camera and the microphone, I now bring that perspective to the other side, with a strong instinct for what audiences need to know and what media will ask next.I’m at my best where strategy meets reality: complex files, high attention, tight timelines.
