ABOUT ANITA DESAI

Offering 15 years of administrative experience in PR, FinTech, AdTech, and Social Media, I love fast-paced environments and strive to better the work lives of my executives while proactively seeking solutions to make our work environment and team culture thrive. As a seasoned EA, I\'m well known for my resourcefulness, calm demeanor, and unique ability to bring people together by organizing unforgettable team-building events such as Office Olympics, Fitness Challenges, Show & Tells, and Talent Shows. Whether it’s planning a conference for 300+ participants, organizing extensive international travel, tracking budgets of $1 million+, streamlining complex office processes, or space planning for 400+ individuals, I can seamlessly manage any challenge. I consider myself an extremely efficient, multi-time zone savvy EA since I have successfully supported several executives in CA and NY while also managing the ever-changing international schedule of LinkedIn’s Head of International Engineering. Passionate about company culture, DIBs, and social impact, I have served as a LinkedIn Culture Champion and also led the LinkedIn Asian Alliance in NY. Today, I help to curate a monthly newsletter for all Employee Resource Groups at LinkedIn NY, and I\'m an Operations & Marketing leader for my org\'s Women in Tech initiative. Prior to LinkedIn, I led our volunteer effort at Advent Software NY and took great pride in organizing activities with nonprofits such as the Fresh Air Fund, Covenant House, Project Sunshine, and PENCIL. Outside of work, I\'m a mom to my 6 year old son, Emiel and I love fitness, reading, and traveling!
