Dynamic Clinical Research Coordinator with a proven track record of leading five successful clinical trials and a master’s degree in Health Services Administration. With over three years of hands-on clinical experience as an optometrist, I bring knowledge to managing study startup, monitoring, and close-out phases. I excel in overseeing crucial documentation, including CTAs and protocol worksheets, while maintaining stringent compliance with sponsor standards. My adeptness in cross-functional collaboration drives impactful outcomes in clinical research, positioning me as a key player in advancing innovative healthcare solutions.As a former clinical research coordinator at Black Hills Regional Eye Institute, I successfully managed and executed more than five retina research trials, ensuring compliance with federal regulations and sponsor policies. I prepared and maintained all the regulatory and quality documents, handled study deviations and CAPA investigations, conducted an internal audit, and facilitated sponsor audits. I also oversaw the clinical operations of the research trials, including budgeting, policy enforcement, quality assurance testing, patient scheduling, and billing. Previously, I worked as an optometrist, where I examined more than a hundred patients daily and assisted the ophthalmologist with major eye surgeries. I also supervised a team of seven healthcare personnel, enhancing clinic flow, patient safety, and overall performance.
