Passionate about the intersection of healthcare and patient advocacy, I am a recent graduate from The University of Minnesota with a degree in Developmental Psychology, and minors in Integrative Neuroscience and Public Health. My journey in healthcare began with extensive shadowing experiences, observing over 250 hours of patient care across specialties such as pediatrics, family medicine, spinal cord injury rehabilitation, and IVF and laparoscopy, providing me with a solid foundation in medical terminology and patient care dynamics. As a Clinical Research Intern at the Birth to Three Clinic, I facilitated the integration of medical school residents into clinical systems, enhancing their experience and optimizing clinic efficiency through proficient use of EPIC and exceptional communication skills. My role as a Direct Care Professional at ACR Homes further honed my ability to provide compassionate care and effectively manage challenging situations, underscoring my dedication to creating supportive environments for individuals with diverse needs. Through these experiences, I\'ve developed a keen interest in directly contributing to healthcare delivery and am currently seeking opportunities to leverage my background as a medical scribe in the Emergency Departments of Children\'s Healthcare of Atlanta.
