About Anisha Perez

I am a member of Merck\'s Executive Recruitment Team where I focused on R&D executive search for Merck Research Labs. Prior to joining Merck, I was a Research Consultant at Russell Reynolds Associates where I was a member of the Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology practice with a focus on R&D, commercial, CEO, and Board searches. Before a career in executive search, I worked as in clinical and basic sciences. I received my PhD in Biochemistry from Rice University where my researched mechanisms of antibiotic resistance. I transitioned to clinical research at Hackensack University Medical Center, where I worked with a team of scientists and clinicians to study root causes of high-risk pregnancy.
