About Anisha Cooper

I am a trauma therapist, working specifically with sexual trauma survivors who identify as POC and/or LGBTQ+ community (or gender and sexual minority (GSM)). I specialize in working with adolescents and adults with sexual trauma histories. Using narrative exposure therapy and self-regulation, the client and I establish an adaptive narrative, dismantling shame, blame, and guilt. I also work with organizations to expand their diversity and inclusion efforts through training focused in trauma and diverse populations. CURRENTLY TAKING NEW VIRTUAL CLIENTS AND OFFERING VIRTUAL TRAINING.

My goal is to connect intentional and holistic healing practices and ritual for spiritual, somatic, and mental health clarity. Using an integrative approach, I center the identities of persons accustomed to periphery treatment and forge healthy relationship with self and the health communities.
