ABOUT ANISHA SWAMY

I am currently doing my Master’s in Finance at Durham University, and somewhere along the way, I realised that finance isn’t just about numbers but it’s about how people make decisions under uncertainty, and how those decisions shape companies, markets, and economies.To build a stronger foundation, I am also preparing for the CFA Level 1 exam. It is helping me go deeper into the mechanics behind investment strategies and financial analysis, while also learning to think with discipline and clarity.Previously, I interned as an Investment Banking Analyst at an M&A firm, where I got hands-on experience working on real deals. It was fast-paced, challenging, and full of moments where I had to step up and figure things out quickly. But most of all, it showed me what it actually feels like to be in the room when high stakes decisions are being made.I am especially interested in investment-heavy financial analysis and research, as well as how tech is changing the way investment products are built and delivered. Whether it is valuation, market psychology, or product innovation, I want to be part of the space where finance meets forward-thinking ideas.Still figuring it out as I go, but excited to keep learning, building, and connecting with people who are just as curious about this space.
