ABOUT ANISHA RAI

I am a junior pursuing Community and Nonprofit Leadership at the Wisconsin School of Human Ecology. Committed to academic excellence, I am a recipient of both the Posse and Chick Evans Scholarships, which are highly competitive full-tuition merit-based leadership awards for students who exhibit exceptional leadership qualities, academic excellence, and community service. As a student leader, I have embraced numerous opportunities to gain valuable experience outside of the classroom. I currently serve as a Student Ambassador for a non-profit organization called Let\'s Get Ready, where I work diligently to help high school students from under-resourced communities to prepare for college success by providing them with the necessary tools and resources they need to succeed academically and professionally. In addition to my leadership roles, I am also an active member of the university\'s recreational dance team, where I perform and showcase my skills in various dance styles, including Bollywood. I was also a member of Student Voice for Refugees, a student-led organization dedicated to working collaboratively with undergraduate students and non-profit organizations worldwide to make higher education more accessible to international refugees.My passion for the nonprofit sector and marketing has driven me to pursue a career that involves creating meaningful experiences for people from all walks of life. I am confident that the skills and experiences I have gained throughout my academic journey will enable me to be a well-rounded professional capable of contributing to the growth and development of the nonprofit sector while positively impacting communities.
