ABOUT ANISH VERGHESE

I am a dedicated and passionate Computer Science Engineering student currently pursuing my Bachelor of Technology degree at Mahindra École Centrale. With a strong academic foundation and a CGPA of 7.32/10, I have consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence in my studies. During my academic journey, I have engaged in a variety of projects that have allowed me to apply my skills and knowledge in practical settings. One notable project is the Movie Semantic Search, which aims to revolutionize the way movies are navigated by enabling searches based on meaning rather than timestamps. This project involves dividing movies into scenes, shots, and frames, and identifying them using object detection techniques. In another project, House Price Prediction, I utilized various machine learning techniques to predict house prices based on customer feature preferences. This project required data analysis and model building skills to deliver accurate predictions. I have also gained valuable experience through Spark Projects, where I worked on tasks such as analyzing tweet data, implementing K-means clustering algorithms, and identifying common words. These projects have enhanced my proficiency in Scala, Python, and Apache Spark, among other tools and technologies. Additionally, I have leveraged my SQL skills in a project focused on music store analysis. By examining a dataset using MySQL, I provided insights to help the store understand its business growth by answering key questions. Furthermore, I have showcased my expertise in data visualization by creating interactive dashboards to track and analyze online sales data, employing various customized visualizations such as bar charts, donut charts, and line charts. In terms of skills, I possess advanced knowledge in C, C++, MySQL, Power BI, GIT, HTML, CSS, and Bootstrap. I am also proficient in Scala, Python, PostgreSQL, pgAdmin4, and OpenCV. Furthermore, I have a working knowledge of Java. My strengths lie in problem-solving, critical thinking, time management, communication, and teamwork. These skills have been honed through my academic pursuits and project collaborations, enabling me to effectively tackle complex challenges and collaborate with diverse teams. I am eager to further expand my knowledge and skills in the field of computer science, and I am actively seeking opportunities to contribute to innovative projects and make a meaningful impact.
