Reporting to the Assistant Sporting Director, Mark Prizant• Attending and observing games at a professional level (live & video)• Supporting the build-out of our target-driven lists from players based in domestic and international markets • Building relationships with contacts and agents globally with a focus on Right to Dream’s target markets • Collaborating with staff members within our SDFC academy, Right to Dream and FC Nordsjælland on all scouting and recruitment efforts• Gathering information on potential transfer fees, salaries, and contract details for prospective targets • Assessing our existing roster composition in collaboration with senior SDFC management and the first team recruitment group• Providing detailed written reports on target players within the structure and methodology set out by the group• Worked closely with the Head of Football Strategy in general player evaluations, 2024 MLS Expansion Draft projections, and the 2025 Free Agency lists• Actively studying the MLS Roster Rules & Regulations to ensure a thorough knowledge of the nuances the Senior and Supplemental roster bring, especially regarding age requirements, specific classifications, salary budget charges, free agency, and the expansion draft• Recommending players that fit the club’s style of play, financial budget, and positional profile
