ABOUT ANISH PUSHPARAJ

I’m a postgraduate in Environmental Management for Agriculture from the University of Hertfordshire, with a background in Agriculture from Annamalai University. I’m passionate about building sustainable farming systems and tackling environmental challenges, especially in the agricultural sector. My studies and field experiences have given me a strong understanding of sustainable practices, environmental monitoring, and the use of tools like GIS.As part of my master’s research, I studied 10 years of climate and crop data from Tamil Nadu to understand how climate change affects agriculture. I used data analysis techniques to explore rainfall, temperature, and crop yields, and suggested practical adaptation methods like using drought-resistant crops and improving water conservation. This helped me build skills in environmental research, data analysis, and reporting.I also worked as an Agriculture Assistant at CADRE-India, where I supported field trials and regularly interacted with over 50 farmers and clients. It gave me hands-on experience in stakeholder engagement, event coordination, and ensuring field activities stayed on track with company goals and environmental standards. Now, I’m looking for a graduate role where I can apply everything I’ve learned—from technical knowledge to on-the-ground experience—to help create positive environmental change, especially in the areas of sustainable agriculture and climate resilience.
