ABOUT ANISH CHALUVADI

I’m a final year PhD student and Gates Cambridge Scholar in Materials Science (Nanoscience and Nanotechnology) at the University of Cambridge, currently working on low-cost nanofabrication techniques for space photovoltaics. With over 5 years of combined experience in semiconductor nanofabrication, materials informatics, and process engineering, including stints at startups (Aeir) and large industrials (GE Vernova, 3M), I am passionate about scaling impactful solutions with integration in mind. Along the way I’ve led student teams and communities, most recently as Co-President of the Cambridge University Energy Technology Society.I’d love to chat with people building in semiconductors, photonics, or climate hardware—particularly aimed at manufacturing and process integration (early 2026 start).
